Warning to those with slow connections: It may take a while, I'm not sure, I don't have a slow connection. Sorry.

Feedback is very important to a writer. Review please!

Part 1 They say for something to be born, something must die. For a star to be born, another must first die; for a man to be born, the child he was must die; the more miraculous the event, the steeper the price.

Part 2 Out of the frying pan, into the fire. Do any willfully leap into the flames? What drives a being to be so wreckless with his own life? Desperation is a powerful weapon.

Part 3 The charity of every act depends upon the circumstances in which it is done.

Part 4 Ideologies separate us. Dreams and anguish bring us together.

Part 5 Authenticity matters little, though — our willingness to accept legends depends far more upon their expression of concepts we want to believe than upon their plausibility.

Part 6 Change has a considerable psychological impact on the human mind. To the fearful it is threatening because it means that things may get worse. To the hopeful it is encouraging because things may get better. To the confident it is inspiring because the challenge exists to make things better.

Part 7 In science the credit goes to the man who convinces the world, not the man to whom the idea first occurs.

Part 8 Perception is strong and sight weak. In strategy it is important to see distant things as if they were close and to take a distanced view of close things.

Part 9 It is one of the things man most excels at. Creating better, more efficient ways to slaughter.
